Jeff completed the 150 kilometre version of the amateur sportif on Sunday 16 April. There were six versions of the race open to amateur riders, 65k, 100k, 125k, 150k, 200k, and 250k. Although registered for the 250k originally due to a chest infection Jeff opted for the 150k version on the morning of the start.
The sold-out show, called Ffashion and hosted by designer Jeff Banks, took place 14th April in aid of The Prince’s Trust.
The hope is to raise more than £20,000 from the event, during which celebrities including TV presenter Lisa Rogers and Cardiff City players Michael Chopra and Mark Hudson appeared.
Jeff Banks made a special in-store appearance at the Jeff Banks Store in Doncaster. The Local press competition winner Rob Clayton won the prize of a full Make up make over (including a facial) from artist Maggie Hunt. The prizewinner also took home a Jeff Banks suit, shirt, and tie, and from the casual range, Jeff Banks also added Jeans and Polo shirt.
Jeff Banks attended the launch of his new Made to measure fabric collections with “old Friends” Fenwicks. Jeff’s first venture into retail came with a partnership with Fenwicks 50 years ago when as a young designer he launched the first shop within shop at Fenwicks Newcastle, to great success
Cutting the cake a different way was Incorporatewear’s theme for the work wear and corporation clothing show. To make the point they despatched a hundred boxes of cup cake to companies around the UK.
