PALACE TO PALCE

 It was a bright morning with just a hint of drizzle in the air when 6000 riders gathered on the Mall for the annual Palace to Palace bike ride to raise funds for the Princes Trust.

Amongst them was Jeff Banks who was riding the event for the third time. It was a mildly undulating course that took the riders out through Chelsea, Fulham and Putney through Windsor Great Park and onto Chertsey Down. A 45 mile route with just the odd hill which made for a pleasant morning ride. The atmosphere out on the course was fantastic with everybody cheering one another on.
Jeff stared the course at 9am and arrived in Windsor at 11.20am to find a fantastic end of ride party underway.
The Prince’s Trust certainly know how to put on an event.
