It was a wet old Sunday morning when Jeff set out from home at 6.00pm to ride the circuit of Kent Cyclo Sportif. It was his plan to give his new Pinarrello a run out. This was Simon Gerrans bike from the Tour De France that Jeff had bought at the Rainforest auction at the end of the tour.
“I don’t understand why it doesn’t go as fast uphill as when Simon’s riding it!” was Jeff’s comment at the end of the event 80k cleared with a few testing hills on the way and great food at the end made for a good Sunday.
