HANKYU BRITISH FAIR OSAKA JAPAN

Along side Jeff was the president of Hankyu Mr Sugioka and the British Ambassador for Japan Mr David Warren.
Jeff Banks made the acceptance speech on behalf of all the British companies exhibiting at the fair.

Over 40 suppliers from Great Britain had been selected to take part and as usual the gala evening was hugely attended. The event represents a phenomenon in the Hankyu retail calendar as the following day it was attended by thousands of customers purchasing British made goods. At one point there were 300 people queuing to get into the special constructed English tea room.

Jeff’s speech traditionally ends with the pun Hankyu Very Much and this year Jeff created an exclusive polo shirt with the phrase embroidered on the back to commemorate the event.
