JEFF MEETS THE QUEEN

Tuesday May 15 found Jeff at The Glades Shopping Center Bromley with a host of Britain's top designers to be presented to Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh. This was part of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The center was filled with thousands of schoolchildren and surprised shoppers all furiously waving Union Jack flags.

The smallest country in The Olympics turned to Jeff Banks to create their wardrobe for the opening ceremony in London. With only eight athletes competing the tiny country were at a loss as to how to create a look that
would be memorable on the world stage. One of their participants who resides in London approached Jeff to create something special that would give pride to this tiny nation.

JEFF BANKS RIDES THE PALACE TO PALACE

On a cold Sunday morning on May 15 Jeff turned up at Warwick Castle to ride the third West Midlands Princes Trust Palace to Palace Bike Event. The Castle grounds provided a splendid backdrop for seven hundred riders to cover 45 miles to raise funds for The Princes Trust.

JEFF RUNS OFF TO GRETNA

Gretna Green just north of the border in Scotland was renowned for where young couples ran away to get married. May 12th saw stylish men running over the border to the Jeff Banks store in The Gateway Center in Gretna. In what is fast becoming a tradition at visits in Scotland, Jeff was greeted by a piper but in Gretna it was a lady piper!

Every year sees The Classics return to Southern Holland and Northen Belgium. Three classic cycle races that have been held for the last century. They have passed into cycling folklore as millions of spectators line the routes to catch a glimpse of National heroes. The races are all around 275 kilometres long over some of the hilliest terrane northwestern Europe can offer.
